In the midst of the Middle Ages, in the heart of the Langue d’Oc ravaged by the violence and defeated by the Crusaders of the king of France and of the Pope of Rome, here is a compelling, epic narrative of two destinies intertwined with these terrible times : friends from childhood who ultimately became bitter enemies because both had fallen passionately in love with the same woman. Around the principal protagonists... the whole of the village society of adults and children, of knights and peasants are irrevocably swept up by the torment of this terrible persecution. More than a hundred amateurs taught to sing, to dance, to act, to fight...adults and children from the region assisted by more than twenty professionals. A collective engagement, a whole year of preparation for an extraordinary human adventure. Sainte-Eulalie de Cernon, a splendid historic site at the heart of Larzac Templier, waits to welcome you with a live spectacular performance unique in France. The entire village is mobilised for the pleasure and excitement of the spectators and artists. 1000 seats are installed.
